Retrofit / Refurbishment

Machine tools are long-life capital assets and often remain in operation well beyond their depreciation period. Machines from renowned manufacturers are frequently not replaced because they are worn out, but because newer technologies enable more efficient and cost-effective operation.

More Than 40 Years of Expertise

This is exactly where Fleckenstein comes in. Since 1984, we have specialized in the refurbishment of machine tools. Our experienced team of technicians carefully inspects and reconditions every machine – both technically and visually.

Today, we selectively purchase high-quality machines from renowned manufacturers, professionally refurbish them, and bring them up to current technical standards.

Upon request, we also take care of transportation, installation, and commissioning right through to a production-ready handover.

The scope of the rebuild depends on the machine type, year of manufacture, and technical condition. A detailed report documenting all completed work and replaced components is prepared and remains available for review at any time.

Customized Rebuild

  • Scope of work depending on machine type, year of manufacture, and technical condition
  • Targeted refurbishment of key machine assemblies
  • Replacement of worn or technically obsolete components
  • Detailed documentation of all completed work and replaced components

Optional Additional Services

  • Replacement of key mechanical components such as guideways, ball screws, and spindle bearings
  • CNC control retrofit
