Our gear grinding machine NILES ZP 20 with Siemens Sinumerik 840D control is designed for high-precision finishing of straight and helical external and internal gears. Workpieces up to a diameter of 2,000 mm, a weight of 18 tons and a maximum module of 34 mm can be ground. Double helical gears are also possible. For long workpieces, a counterholder with steady rest arm is available as a support. The machine concept in hydrostatic design promises a long service life with simultaneously highest workpiece accuracy. A measuring protocol for the accuracy of the machine prepared by the manufacturer is available and can be sent on request.
Designed and built by german premium manufacturer NILES, it is a respected alternative to comparable Höfler or Gleason Pfauter gear grinders in these sizes.
